Ellie faltered but was mistrusting by personality. She watched Wilson intently and lifted the mirror off of her wrist by a couple of centimetres but didn't let it go. She then stood still, studying Wilson's reactions.

Wilson relaxed visibly, "Okay, just drop it the floor," he said, in a calming voice, reaching for his pager, "I'll page one of the cleaners to clear that mess up."

Ellie had been breathing deeply before so was now feeling very lightheaded. She knew what was happening. "I'm gonna feint" she slurred before falling to the ground and onto the various peices of smashed mirror. The Insomnia had gotten the better of her.

Wilson walked swiftly over to her, upon seeing haer faint. He hoisted her onto the bed that was about half a metre away from where she had been standing mere moments ago.

Elizabeth lay like a horrific doll on the bed. She was limp and unmoving but covered in cuts and scratches that oozed blood. Like a voodoo doll came true.

Wilson was unsure of where to start, what to do. The wounds covering her body were horrific to look at. He was unsure of whether or not surgery would be needed to remove the glass from the multitude of cuts covering her. He took out his pager, sending out an emergancy code to nearby staff.

Ellie began to stir. Being unconcious normally only lasted a few minutes. She gently opened her eyes and looked around. "owch." she groaned as she tried to sit up. The cuts stang like hell. She looked up at Wilson. "What the...?" she couldn't remember what had happened to her.

"You fainted," Wilson said softly, "and unfortunatley fell on that glass over there." Wilson stepped back from her as a multitude of nurses, A & E doctors and paramedics entered the room.

"What! Why?" she asked in confusion as a load of people she did not know surrounded her. "What happened?" she asked after failing to remember.

"I'll explain later," Wilson said as one of the nurses attempted to inject a shot of anaesthetic into Elizabeth's arm.

Ellie nodded to Wilson and attempted to fight off a woman with a big needle yelling "No! No! No! No!" It was chaos. Ellie hated needles and was slapping away the hand of the nurse trying to inject here with something. "get that thing away from me or it's going in your eye." She threatened.

Wilson sighed, and walked over to where Elizabeth and the nurse were currently battling over the needle. "Let me try," he muttered to her. She complied and handed it over. "Elizabeth, this going to get rid of the pain. Just look away, and you won't feel a thing. Okay?"

There was something about Wilson that Ellie trusted but she hated needles none-the-less. "I don't want it. I don't need it!" she pleaded to Wilson. "Please, no!" she begged

"You do need it. It honestly won't hurt," he said, allowing the needle to hover a few inches above her arm.

Ellie whimpered and nodded. She shut her eyes tight and braced herself. She was terrified and it showed. She was biting her bottom lip so hard it was bleeding.

"That's good. Now, if possible, try to get some sleep," Wilson said, as the medical team got to work removing any glass left in the cuts, sterilising them, and stitching them up and bandaging them where appropriote.

Ellie nodded and closed her eyes. She trusted Wilson but not any of the others so she pretended to sleep whilst actually listening intently.

"I'll go and phone her parents about the incident," Wilson said, walking away from her bedside and towards the door.

Elizabeth heard Wilson and sat up. "Don't!" she shouted angrily, glaring at Wilson from across the room. "Don't you dare." she threatened in a low, hiss-like voice.

Elizabeth panicked even more now. She grabbed the needle that was used for the anesthetic and shoved it straight into the main vein of the wrist and dragged it sideways. Tearing skin and vein. Blood spurted from the vein like a horrendus water fountain. Covering walls and fabric.

The response from the medical team in the room was frantic, as they attempted to stop the bleeding. What had just happened was enough to deter Wilson from ringing her parents. Her reaction had at first seemed over the top, though he was starting to wonder if she might of had a good reason for her adverse reaction.

Ellie's response had been instinctive. Grab something sharp and cut herself. It was like second nature to her. She thought about this as she lay in the hospital bed. Face blank, watching Wilson as the medical team fussed around her.
