A few hours later

"Then why not just explain it to me so I do understand?" Wilson asked, exasperated.

"I...I don't want to." she said awkwardly, staring at the ground in embarassment.

"Is there any part of it that you don't feel too uncomfortable telling?" Wilson asked, his voice taking on a softer tone.

"My parents, erm. Well, they are rather strict. They have quite severe, erm, punishment." Ellie said, her sentence sounding rather detatched.

Wilson tilted his head to the side slightly, and then asked quietly, "What sort of punishment do they usually use?"

Ellie chose her words extremely carefully. "It varies." she said quietly, watching Wilson intently, wondering how much information he could get from that.

"What do you think their reaction would be to the event earlier?" Wilson asked in the same tone as before.

Ellie sat in fear at the thought of their reaction. "Very, very. Angry." she answered, her voice shook with fear.

"What do you think that they would do about it?" Wilson questioned, trying to get a more precise answer.

"I don't know." she said honestly. The truth was that she did not know. All she knew was it was going to hurt.

Wilson silently mulled over her past few answers for a few moments, before moving onto his next question, "Are you going to tell anyone else about this?"

"No. I'm not." she said simply. Wondering what Wilson thought was happening to her.

"And what would your reaction be if I were to call social services?" Wilson asked cautiously, not wanting to provoke an over the top reaction in Elizabeth.

"Not. Good." she said firmly, in a threatening manner. Watching Wilson suspiciously.

"Right. So that wouldn't be a good idea," Wilson said, continueing in a neutral tone, "Anyway, moving on from that. How is your wrist feeling? Any better?"

"It stings and aches like hell but I'll live." Ellie replied, her tone more chatty now rather than threatening.

"Okay," Wilson said, tone also lighter then before, "Do you want me to increase your morphine intake, seeing as its pretty low at the moment?"

"Yes please" she said innocently. "That would be benaficial." she added. "So, Dr. Wilson, how are you?" she asked with polite interest.

"I'm good thanks," Wilson said, walking over to adjust the morphine level on her IV, "There. All done. So, are you okay?"

"Are you avoiding my question? I am well, thank you. Now you answer." she said lightly, wondering how truthfull Wilson would be.

"I'm fine thanks, though I did answer a few moments ago," Wilson answered, rather amused by this.

Ellie was confused as she could not remember but she didn't show it. "Oh, oh yeah. Just checking." She said convincingly.

"Okay..." Wilson said, deciding not to linger on the topic, "Anyway, did you manage to get any sleep since the incident?"

"Nope." Ellie said lamely. "None." she was rather exhausted but every time she shut her eyes, the worst memories she possessed played like a film reel from a horror movie in her mind.

"Ah. That's not great," Wilson said, pausing for a short moment, "Do you think you need any sleeping pills to help you sleep?"
